BACKGROUND: I am a collector of high-quality costume jewelry and am a seller and buyer on the eBay auctions (and soon on this web site) of not only costume jewelry, but just "beautiful things" I can't resist at auctions just to own for a while. They are "jewels too." I specialize in pieces that are in "never worn" condition and I pride myself in the accuracy of my descriptions; disclosing the smallest flaws without you having to write separate e-mails trying to find out if anything is wrong with it. CHERRYJEWELS is me, Cherry Emerson, and I am based in Boulder County, Colorado. I live near the town of "Eerie" Erie, Colorado, on the high plains, about 35 miles northwest of Denver.

 PHILOSOPHY: Internet buying is difficult enough without the added disappointment of opening a package and realizing the seller didn't fully describe the piece and if they had, we would never have bid that much on it. Educated buyers are more confident buyers so I usually try to put some tidbits about the designer or the item that you might not know. I have long descriptions but you learn something almost every time you read one. It takes extra time but I think it is worth it for the buyer.

 PAYMENTS: I can now accept Mastercard or Visa via PAYPAL and Mastercard, Visa, Discovery and Electronic Check through BILLPOINT if it is an eBay sale. I also take personal checks and INTERNATIONAL CHECKS in the currency of YOUR country as my bank will cash them free of charges. Please don't run out and pay extra for a money order. I ship promptly and don't hold merchandise for check clearance unless it is over $100; then I might. I just seem to have good honest buyers.

 SHIPPING CHARGES: Normal shipping charges are $5.00 for Priority with Delivery Verification within the USA for under two pounds (inner gift box, new tissue paper and outer priority box); over two pounds, see description. International is actual cost. If you have a financial consideration and need first class postage please let me know I will work something out with you.

 INSURANCE: CHERRYJEWELS always pays any necessary insurance costs. The seller is the one that has to collect and pay the buyer so I think I should pay for it. It protects me more than you so I don't think you should have to pay.

 OTHER SHIPPING OPTIONS: I will ship FED EX, UPS or USPO overnight or two-day air or DROP SHIP if we make arrangements to do so. Payment would be actual cost of shipping. Will DROP SHIP (mail other than the buyer's location) only with money order or ceritifed funds check in my hand or if you have previously done business with me and I know you. I will also include a gift bow if requested, for that special occasion at no extra charge.

. REFUND POLICY: If you're not happy, I am not happy. Let me know what is wrong within FIVE days of receiving the item. We will work it out and that includes a full refund for anything except "buyer's remorse." You would pay return shipping in the exact manner it was shipped to you. I have refunded only four times (1) person mis-read the description and was very honest that this was the only problem, and (2) I broke the item while packing it...fell off desk and my chair rolled over it (3) package crushed in shipment-insured-collected, and (4) The item mysteriously disappeared in my house (later found behind a cabinet) and I refunded but when the item was found I shipped it to the buyer as a gift
